I designed a meter that measured 3 dimensional “Vector” magnetic fields in a grid pattern, Using FFT it made a 3 dimensional map of the EMF radiation around computer “CRT” monitors and showed that having CRTs surrounding you in a classroom put you in a high magnetic field. The instrument was called EMDEX “Electro-Magnetic Digital Exposure Meter” I worked with EPRI “Energy and Power Institute” and ETC consultants who actually used the meters to conduct the studies.
I also worked with Bourne University with their study of high breast cancer incidents in locomotive men operating Diesel Electric Trains.
